absurdly easy and delicious recipe: Shrimp Tacos. This dinner is certainly to
impress your foodie friends and actually please your fussy small ones! Almost
every child I know likes shrimp. With this recipe you can make these tacos to
order, adding as small, or as the toppings you like.
salsa-shrimp tacos
Prep Time: 15
Minutes Start to Finish: 15 Minutes generates: 6 servings (2 shrimp tacos each)
¾ cup
chunky-style salsa
¾ lb uncooked
deveined peeled medium shrimp,
thawed if
frozen, tail shells removed
½ cup chopped
green bell pepper
¾ cup
shredded lettuce
¼ cup taco
sauce
1 box (4.6
oz) taco shells (12 shells)
¾ cup
shredded Mexican cheese blend (3 oz)
1. In 10-inch
nonstick skillet, heat bell pepper and salsa
through
medium-high heat, stirring frequently, until warm.
2. Stir in
shrimp. Cook three to four minutes, turning shrimp
occasionally,
until shrimp are pink.
3. Fill each
taco shell with about ¼ cup shrimp mixture.
Top with taco
sauce, cheese and lettuce.
